Business & Marketing Copy
I have written economic development copy for Global Design Publishing‘s numerous community magazines throughout Southern New England. This involves researching and writing text for cities as large as Waterbury, CT, and Springfield, MA, to small towns such as Westborough, MA, and Smithfield, RI. The process entails working with city and town administrations, researching on-line, interviewing company officials, and developing content accordingly.

Press Releases
Over the years, I have written scores of press releases for small businesses mostly in the tourism and retail industries, including exclusive country inns, bed & breakfasts of all sizes, art galleries, plus local merchants groups and regional tourism organizations.
Social Media & Online Marketing
Blogs and social media (Facebook, Instagram, Twitter) are a great value for small businesses seeking to reach an audience. Effective and well written content, images, linking, tags and use of key words are crucial to successful use of these marketing tools.
Books
In 2013, The Golden Lamb Buttery celebrated its 50th anniversary and published this lovely book in commemoration. I was proud to be editor for author Katie Bogert on The Golden Lamb Buttery: A 50th Anniversary Collection of Memories, History, Photos & Recipes.
From 1998-2000 I worked for book developer Swordsmith Productions, in Pomfret, CT, doing production work, proofreading, copyediting, research and writing. I contributed to the following books:
