As a freelance writer, I love sharing the journeys and dreams of people I meet and places I have treasured, from my backyard to across the globe. I cheerlead for noteworthy people, organizations and small businesses throughout southern New England as a longtime tourism writer. An avid recreational cyclist, world traveler and outdoor activity enthusiast, I’m always planning my next trip and sharing stories of fellow adventurers. I am passionate about caring for the gift of our planet and for each other, no matter our many differences. I see writing as a way to reach, connect and teach by telling authentic, empowering stories.
A graduate of UConn (BS) and Wesleyan University (MALS), I’ve written for many local and regional publications for over 20 years. I attained hands-on marketing and public relations skills working for successful consultants for more than 6 years. I have managed marketing for our family’s antique wood business, the Old Wood Workshop, since its inception in the 90s.
